The court of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Ujjal Bhuyan of the Supreme Court made the observations while hearing a Habeas Corpus petition with respect to the protesting farmer&rsquo;s alleged illegal detention.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p dir=\"ltr\" style=\"text-align:center\"><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Jagjit Singh Dallewal had planned a fast unto death and was allegedly removed from the protest site at Khanauri border, adjoining Delhi, until his demand for MSP for crops was met. He was thereafter admitted to a hospital in Ludhiana and subsequent to this he moved court claiming that his admittance to the hospital was an act of coercion and amounted to detention.
