Veeraswami ruling, which mandates prior approval from the Chief Justice of India (CJI) before initiating criminal proceedings against a sitting High Court or Supreme Court judge. Nedumpara argues that <\/span><span style=\"font-size:14.67px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial-BoldMT\"><strong>Justice Varma should face prosecution rather than a mere transfer.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p style=\"margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px\"><span style=\"font-size:14.7px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:14.67px\">According to media reports, a fire at Justice Varma&#39;s residence on March 14 unexpectedly led to the discovery of unaccounted cash. The incident sparked corruption allegations against Justice Varma, who has refuted these claims, asserting that it seems to be a deliberate conspiracy to implicate him.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p style=\"margin-left:0px; margin-right:0px\"><span style=\"font-size:14.7px\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial\"><span style=\"font-size:14.67px\">The Chief Justice of India initiated an internal investigation on 22nd March, 2025, forming a three-member committee.
