Kotwal and Justice Shriram M. Modak has kept the matter for further hearing on April 16, 2025 at 2:30 PM.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Such adjournment comes in alignment with the decision of the Madras High on April 7, 2025 where the court extended the interim protection granted to Kamra to April 17, 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Senior Advocate Navroz Seervai, representing Kamra, informed the court that the Madras High Court&#39;s order from Monday&mdash;granting an extension of anticipatory bail&mdash;had not yet been uploaded to the court&rsquo;s website.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">He therefore urged the Bombay High Court to take up the quashing petition the same day<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Ultimately, the bench then scheduled the matter for April 16 and directed Additional Public Prosecutor Mankunwar Deshmukh, appearing for the State, to obtain necessary instructions in the meantime.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">On March 24, the Khar police filed a case against Kamra following a complaint by Shiv Sena MLA Murji Patel, alleging that Kamra referred to Shinde as a &#39;gaddar&#39; (traitor).<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Adding to the drama, Kamra had written to the Mumbai Police with a request to record his statement through video conferencing, after skipping the third consecutive summons issued on April 2, 2025.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div>\n \n <hr \/><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Case Title: Kunal Kamra v.
