This move comes after persistent efforts by AAWI following last year&#39;s stringent ban imposed by the Administration headed by then Chief Justice, Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p style=\"text-align:center\"><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\"><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Last year, the High Court administartion had enforced a blanket ban on the use of plastic bottles on the High Court premises, leading to their complete prohibition, which in turn had caused considerable inconvenience to court-goers, especially during the harsh summer months. Recognizing the practical difficulties faced by the legal fraternity, AAWI has since been consistently advocating for a reconsideration of the ban.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Responding to AAWI&rsquo;s request, the current Chief Justice has now permitted individuals to carry single-use plastic water bottles into the High Court premises&mdash;<strong>with the explicit condition<\/strong> that users must ensure proper and responsible disposal of the bottles. However, carrying or using such bottles <strong>inside courtrooms or court halls remains strictly prohibited<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">The notice issued by AAWI Secretary Suresh Sabrad underlines that any violation of these conditions will be viewed seriously, urging all concerned to strictly comply with the directions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">The official notice reads as follows:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n <\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">&ldquo;Notice:-<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">Association is happy to inform that after considering our request, the Hon&#39;ble the Chief Justice is pleased to relax the condition prohibiting the use of single use plastic water bottles in High Court premises, until further orders, on the condition that the person carrying the single use plastic bottle shall take appropriate precautions for its disposal and shall not carry\/ take the said water bottles inside the Court Rooms\/ Halls.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n \n \n \n <div><span style=\"font-size:16px\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-family:Georgia,serif\">The above directions should be scrupulously followed.
