Singh <\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:18.67px\">came down heavily on Vijay Shah for making remarks on Colonel Sofiya Quereshi and termed it as &ldquo;<\/span><span style=\"font-size:18.67px\"><span style=\"font-family:TimesNewRomanPS-ItalicMT\"><em>filthy, crass and shameful&rdquo;<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p><span style=\"font-size:18.7px\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;\"><span style=\"font-size:18.67px\">The bench, while expressing dissatisfaction with Minister&rsquo;s apology, deemed it as insincere. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p><span style=\"font-size:18.7px\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;\"><span style=\"font-size:18.67px\"><span style=\"font-family:'TimesNewRomanPS-BoldItalicMT'\"><strong><em>&quot;What is that apology? What kind of apology have you tendered? There is some meaning of apology. Sometimes people use docile language only to wriggle out of proceedings, and sometimes they shed crocodile tears. What kind of apology is yours? You want to give the impression that the court had asked you to apologise. What prevented you from making a sincere apology for your crass comments till now?&quot; <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size:18.67px\">stated the court.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p><span style=\"font-size:18.7px\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;\"><span style=\"font-size:18.67px\">Consequently, the court directed <\/span><span style=\"font-size:18.67px\"><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff\">that a Special Investigation Team comprising three senior IPS officers, one of whom shall be a woman and who do not belong to the State of Madhya Pradesh, shall be constituted to investigate the remarks made against Colonel Qureshi.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n \n \n <p><span style=\"font-size:18.7px\"><span style=\"font-family:&quot;Times New Roman&quot;\"><span style=\"font-size:18.67px\"><span style=\"background-color:#ffffff\">Additionally, the bench affirmed the Madhya Pradesh High Court&#39;s decision to take suo motu cognizance and register an FIR against Minister Vijay Shah while also criticizing the State for its inaction.
